These terms apply to CB Guide at colonialbeachapp.com, its mobile apps, private house guides, and the connection that lets AI assistants look up the app's public information (together, "the app"). By using the app, you agree to them.
CB Guide is a free, independent guide to Colonial Beach, Virginia. It is not an official service of the Town of Colonial Beach or of any business it lists.
We work to keep events, hours, prices, weather, tides and listings accurate, but they change, and some come from businesses, organizers and public agencies. Please confirm details with the venue or organizer before you go. Tides and weather are for general information and are not a substitute for official marine or weather services. Listings of health-related services are for information only and are not medical advice.
The chat assistant, and outside AI assistants that use the app's information, generate answers automatically. They can be incomplete or wrong. Treat them as a starting point and confirm anything important.
House guides are prepared with and managed by each rental's host, who is responsible for the accuracy of the house information, rules and access codes. Keep access codes private. The rental itself is between the guest and the host or booking platform; CB Guide is not a party to it.
If you submit an event, listing, photo or house information, you confirm that it is accurate and that you have the right to share it, and you allow us to display it in the app. We may edit, decline or remove submissions.
Please don't misuse the app: no attempts to break its security, guess access codes, overload it with automated requests, or collect its content in bulk for resale. AI assistants and other automated clients must respect our rate limits. We may block access that breaks these terms.
The app links to and embeds other websites and services. We don't control them and are not responsible for their content or practices.
The app's design, text and features belong to CB Guide. Business names, logos and photos belong to their owners.
To the fullest extent the law allows, the app is provided without warranties of any kind, and CB Guide is not liable for any loss or damage that results from using it or relying on its information.
We may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version, and continuing to use the app means you accept it.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia.
