AI assistants can connect to the Colonial Beach App to answer questions about Colonial Beach, Virginia: what's on, where to eat and what to do, and the weather and tides. The connector uses the Model Context Protocol (MCP).

All tools are read-only and publish JSON output schemas. Dates are local to Colonial Beach (America/New_York). Events and places include an ID and a direct public page URL.
Vacation rental search is coming soon. It is currently available only in the developer version and is not a tool on this public connector.

get_conditionsCurrent weather, the 7-day forecast, and high and low tides from NOAA. No inputs. Status is available, partial or unavailable, with retrieval time, weather observation time when supplied, and source links. An unavailable result is a tool error.
Browse events and places without JavaScript. Each listing has its own page; add ?format=json for the same public record as structured data. Read the OpenAPI description or agent guide. The sitemap contains public discovery pages only.
Check freshness.status for live, partial or published fallback data. fetched_at is retrieval time, not verification time. Each listing includes provenance and its source update time when known. Published listings may have an unknown update time. Listed hours do not establish whether a business is open now. A zero-result search means no matching app listings; it does not prove that no such events or places exist.

In Claude, add a custom connector with the endpoint above. No sign-in is needed.
The connector returns only information the app already shows the public. It never returns private house guides, guest or host details, or anything personal, and it cannot change anything. Requests carry only the assistant's search terms and dates. See the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.
The public connector is ready for compatible assistants. Muse directory approval is pending. Approval, display, rankings and referrals depend on that platform and are not guaranteed. A personal Codex dot can use connected tools; it is not a public rental marketplace.
