Explore the Potomac shoreline with a ranger, practice responsible beachcombing, and turn found sea glass into a nature-inspired craft. Ride a wagon to the river and return to the Visitor Center to create your piece; art supplies and a shadowbox are provided. Check in inside the Visitor Center. Wear sturdy shoes that may get wet and dress for the weather. Cost: $15 per person; paid reservations are required because space is limited. Call the park or visit the Visitor Center to reserve.
