Explore Caledon’s geology on Saturday October 24, 10 AM–noon. Check in inside the Visitor Center, then take a wagon ride through the forest, look at local rock features and explore the Potomac River shoreline while learning how the landscape formed, and collect a few treasures along the way. Dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes; the shoreline can be windy and chilly this time of year. Paid reservations are required and space is limited: call (540) 663-3861 or stop by the Visitor Center. Program fee $8 per person or $20 per family, plus the $5 parking fee. Children are welcome.
